we had graduated!!!
with our Officer Commanding
We are the man from ZULU Coy
with my Platoon Commander
2 months had past, life in Tekong island was very tough and strict. Everyone from all different walk of life came together for the same purpose, to serve National Service. all of us had gone through many weeks of hell and we had endure many of the tough training on the island. Our first experience when civilian never get to try out such as throwing a live grenade, live firing range, field camp for 5 days when all of us cannot shower and brushes teeth for days sleeping in the wild. Our daily marches and song, and the usual punishment such as push-up and many stupid punishment that our commanders can ever think of. But all did, we had done it and gone through. Yesterday we had our Passing Out Parade(POP), we stood proudly infront of our parents as they looked on from the grandstand. I would like to wish all my buddies all the best in your next posting especially guys from section 1.

I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
and forever it will stay.
